The new terminal at Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, will be ready by August 15. In this, 20 aircraft will be able to stand simultaneously. Passengers will get a lot of facilities from the new terminal. Airport director Prabhakar Mishra told that the building of the first phase would be completed by August 15. The project director of terminal construction has said that this new building will be handed over to the Airport Authority of India by August 15.

After this, there will be a shift from the old building of the terminal to the new one. He said that there will be 36 check-in counters in the new terminal. Six lifts have been installed for the passengers. Four automatic stairs and four boarding bridges have been built. The building will have a capacity of 900 arrivals and 900 departures at a time. Here eight small and 12 big aircraft will be able to stand together.
