The non-stop Volvo bus service started from Dehradun to Delhi by the Transport Corporation picked up the pace on the second day itself. The bus took four hours and ten minutes to reach Delhi from Dehradun on Wednesday.

In fact, the Transport Corporation had started a non-stop Volvo bus between ISBT Dehradun and Delhi on Tuesday. The corporation claimed that the bus would reach Delhi in four hours, but on the first day, the bus reached Delhi in about six hours.

However, when she returned from Delhi to Doon at 9.30 pm, it took only about four hours. On Wednesday, the Transport Corporation, learning from the mistakes of the day before, sent a non-stop bus at exactly 11 in the morning, in which 18 Saawariyas left for Delhi. This bus reached Delhi in exactly four hours 10 minutes.

Roadways Divisional Manager Sanjay Gupta said that soon after seeing the enthusiasm of the passengers, non-stop Volvo will be started between Doon-Delhi even at 5 in the morning. After this, if the results are better then every two to three hours a Volvo will be run non-stop.
