Vaccination slowed down, only 12 percent of youth got vaccinated in 37 days

To curb corona in the state, the vaccination program is going on for youth above 18 years of age, but its pace is very slow. In 37 days, only about 12 percent of the youth have been able to get the vaccine. In the state, 50 lakh youth have to be vaccinated, but so far only 5 lakh 91 thousand have been able to get the first dose. Due to this, the claims of the government to completely control Corona do not seem to be getting off the ground.

After the elderly and Corona Warriors health workers, the government had decided to vaccinate about half of the state's population, i.e. the youth of 18 to 44 years. Vaccination work started on 10 May. Initially, the work of vaccination was going good but then due to lack of vaccine, this work has slowed down. In the center where 1000 vaccines were used, 100 vaccines are being administered daily.
