Uttarakhand Vidhansabha Session: Supplementary budget will be presented today

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will present the supplementary budget on Tuesday, the second day of the monsoon session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly. In the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee chaired by Speaker Prem Chand Agarwal, the business to be laid on the Table of the House was decided on Tuesday.

Apart from the Uttarakhand Appropriation (Supplemental to 2021-22) Bill 2021, the government will lay six more bills on the Table of the House. The supplementary budget to be presented in the House is estimated to be Rs 5,300 crore.

Since the Chief Minister is also the Finance Minister, he will introduce the Appropriation Bill in the House on Tuesday. There will be a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee again on Wednesday to decide the future business.

Seven bills will come on the floor of the house today

Seven Bills will be laid on the Table of the House on Tuesday, the second day of the Assembly session. In this IMS Unison University (Amendment) Bill, DIT University Amendment (Bill), Uttarakhand Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill, Himalayan Garhwal University (Amendment) Bill, Uttarakhand Nursery (Regulation) Amendment Bill, Uttarakhand Special for Municipal Bodies and Authorities. The Provisions Amendment Bill and the Uttarakhand Appropriation Bill (2021-22 Supplementary) Bill will be laid on the Table of the House.
