In the board meeting of the Uttarakhand State Cooperative Federation (UCF), a review was done to increase the business of the state cooperative union. It was decided that a low-cost small food processing unit would be set up under the soybean project in Halduchaur. Along with this, a wellness center and Naturopathy unit will be constructed on the joint venture with KCDS Almora at the vacant land in CDF Ranikhet.

On Wednesday, a board meeting was held under the chairmanship of Acting President Matbar Singh Rawat at UCF Bhawan, Dehradun. In which a tribute was paid to former UCF President Pramod Kumar Singh on his death from Corona. In the board meeting, it was agreed to prepare a medicinal plantation in CDF Ranikhet to promote medical tourism. The board agreed to prepare its project report.

Apart from this, wheat procurement was also reviewed in the meeting. It was informed that this year UCF has procured 875225 quintals of wheat from the farmers, of which 120 crores has been paid to the farmers. The balance payment of about 54.45 crores will be done soon. Acting President Matbar Singh Rawat said that work is being done in the cooperative union as per the rules laid down by the government. Efforts are being made to increase the business of the cooperative union as much as possible.

In the meeting, UCF Managing Director MP Tripathi assured the board members that whatever suggestions and instructions he would get in the business growth by the union's acting president and board members, would be followed on time.

Umesh Tripathi, Rajendra Singh Negi, Vijay Santri, Deepak Chauhan, Aditya Chauhan, Shiv Bahadur Singh, Narendra Singh, Geeta Nautiyal, Kapil Kanta, Kamalavati, Deepa Bisht, Deputy Manager TS Rawat etc. were present in the meeting.
