The fares of private vehicles going on Char Dham Yatra including Kedarnath, Badrinath Hemkund Sahib have increased and now people will have to pay 30 rupees more as user charges. Earlier this fee was Rs 20 but now a total of Rs 50 will have to be paid. On June 18, this decision was taken in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Transport Secretary Dr. Ranjit Sinha regarding the preparations for Char Dham Yatra. In the meeting, it has been decided to increase the user charge from Rs 20 to Rs 50. In such a situation, traveling to Char Dham can be costly for people this time.

This year trip card will be mandatory for two-wheeler vehicles going to Hemkund Sahib. Along with this, the Secretary has also asked to prepare the arrangements for the trip cards of private vehicles in the Green Card online software during the Char Dham Yatra. Let us tell you that due to Corona, the journey was postponed in June but now that the circumstances have come under control and the effect of the corona has reduced, the government has decided to start the Char Dham Yatra from July 11 for the people of Uttarakhand. Due to Corona, the government has currently allowed the Char Dham Yatra for the people of Uttarakhand only. In the first phase, people of Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Rudraprayag districts have been allowed to go on a yatra from July 1, while pilgrims from across the state will be able to go on a yatra from July 11.
