Uttarakhand: Govt to allow vaccination of Sputnik V, to cost Rs 2500

To protect against corona infection in Uttarakhand, two doses of Sputnik V vaccine will be available for Rs 2500. The government has given an option to the Industries to vaccinate their employees with Sputnik V vaccine on a paid basis, to prevent the spread of infection in industries. The State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (SIDCUL) has issued a letter to industrial organizations in this regard. At the same time, industrial organizations say that there is a need for staff vaccinations to keep the industries running. The government has given an alternative system for the convenience of industries.
The state government is trying to vaccinate the employees working in industries based on payment. Under this, for applying two doses of Sputnik V, per person Rs 2500 will have to be paid.

In a letter issued by SIDCUL Managing Director Svin Bansal, it was suggested to the industrial organizations that the industries which are interested in vaccinating the employees under this alternative arrangement should list the employees within a week.

Once the consent format of vaccination is submitted by the industries, the industries will have to deposit an amount of Rs 2500 for two vaccines per person. All regional managers were instructed by SIDCUL to coordinate with the industries.

In the Corona epidemic, the vaccination of employees is necessary to keep industries running. The government has given an alternative system of applying the vaccine to the employees by paying money to the industries. There is no pressure on industries for this. The government is short of vaccines. With this, industries have been given the option of applying the vaccine to the employees on a payment basis.
