Uttarakhand government has decided to develop photography point of late CDS, General Bipin Rawat

The Uttarakhand government has decided to set up a photography point in Kedarnath in memory of the country's first Chief of Defense Staff, the late General Bipin Rawat. This comes two days after Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj announced plans to develop a photography point at the temple in memory of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Maharaj has issued instructions to the state authorities to identify the most suitable places on the route of the revered pilgrimage. Sharing the information, Maharaj said, “There are very picturesque places close to the Kedarnath area. We will put up pictures of General Rawat and the pilgrims coming for the yatra can get his pictures clicked at the identified places.

He also denied that the photography point came in the memory of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. At the same time, his changing statement can be considered as the reason for the opposition of Bhairav Sena because the workers of Bhairav Sena had opposed Sushant Singh Photography Point by Satpal Maharaj.

Bhairav Sein performed a wisdom-purification Yagya in Gandhi Park. The workers present in the same park said that this decision of Satpal Maharaj is against dignity. The actor shot the Bollywood film Kedarnath in this area. The senior minister said that General Rawat has made the state proud at the national and international levels.

He has also contributed a lot to the walnut plantation near the border areas and encouraged the local people to join the defense forces. We will also honor the Indian Army by paying respect to General Rawat. Almost every family in Uttarakhand has given a member of the defense forces.

This year, a record number of people are being seen in the Kedarnath Yatra, which started on May 6.

By the evening of 22 May, 2.98 lakh devotees offered prayers at Kedarnath, which is the highest among the four revered temples. A total of 2.81 lakh pilgrims have visited Badrinath, 1.73 lakh Gangotri, and 1.27 lakh Yamunotri. The country's first Chief of Defense Staff and his wife were killed in a helicopter crash in December last year.

General Rawat was a resident of Saina village in the Pauri district of Uttarakhand. Every year he used to come to his native village to worship the local deity. His house is also being built in the village as he had planned to spend some time in Uttarakhand. General Rawat's uncle Bharat Singh Rawat later announced that he would build a house in his memory where his belongings would be kept. Once built, the house will remain open to visitors and serve as an inspiration to the younger generation.
