Uttarakhand Employment News: Recruitment will be done on 380 vacant posts in cooperative banks

As government is starting to unlock the Covid curfew, the exercise to fill vacant posts in government departments has started. Vacant posts in cooperative banks of the state will also be filled soon. A recruitment exam will be conducted for 380 posts in banks. The responsibility of the recruitment examination has been given to IBPS.
This information was given by Cooperation and Higher Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat in a meeting held in the assembly hall. In the presence of the chairman of district cooperative banks, a review meeting of cooperative banks was organized in the meeting room. In which a detailed discussion was held regarding recruitment of vacant posts in cooperative banks, the opening of new branches of the bank, setting up of ATMs at various places, Chief Minister Ghasiyari Yojana and Chief Minister Motorcycle Scheme. Departmental Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that the vacant posts in cooperative banks would be filled soon.
In 10 District Co-operative Banks and State Co-operative Banks of the state, 380 vacancies will be filled in the above categories 3 and 4. The recruitment exam will be conducted through IBPS. Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat directed all the Chairman and General Managers present in the meeting to inform about the vacant posts so that the exercise to fill these posts could be started at the earliest.
The departmental minister also inquired about the progress of work on the opening of new ATMs, CBS, data banks and new branches. He said that if cooperative banks have to compete with national banks, they have to provide maximum facilities to the consumers. Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat directed TCIL to immediately set up the data center of the banks so that the Chief Minister can inaugurate it by July 15. Officers of cooperative banks located in different districts were present in the review meeting.
