UK's Sneh Rana nominated for ICC Best Player of the Month, the names of these players also included

India's all-rounder Sneh Rana has been nominated for ICC Best Player of the Month. Apart from Sneh Rana, India’s aggressive young batsman Shefali Verma has also been nominated for the ICC Player of the Month. Shefali Verma recently created history during her Test debut. Shefali Verma became the first woman player to score half-centuries in both innings of her Test debut.

All-rounder Sneh made a memorable Test debut in Bristol, scoring an unbeaten 80 off 154 balls in the second innings as the Indian team was able to draw the match while playing the follow-on. She also took four wickets for 131 runs in England's innings. She also took one wicket for 43 runs in the One Day International match against the same team.

Apart from Sneh name of Indian batsman Shefali Verma has also been nominated for this award. Both these players performed brilliantly in the recently concluded series against England. In the men's category, the names of New Zealand batsman Devon Conway and fast bowler Kyle Jamieson, apart from South Africa's Quinton de Kock have been sent for this award.

17-year-old Shefali scored 96 and 63 runs in both innings in her brilliant Test debut against England. Shefali Verma was given the Player of the Match award in her debut match itself.

Shefali became the first player in India and the fourth player in the world to score half-centuries in both the debut Test innings. Her first innings score is the highest score by an Indian woman on debut. He also scored 59 runs in two ODIs against England at a strike rate of 85.50.

Jameson's name included

In the men's section, Conway scored a double century while debuting at Lord's in June. He scored two half-centuries in the next two Tests, including the ICC World Test Championship final against India. He scored 379 runs at an average of 63.16. De Kock became the player of the series against the West Indies. He scored an unbeaten 141 in the first test and 96 runs in the second test.

Jamieson was the World Test Champion player of the match in the final. He took seven wickets for 61 runs in the match. Apart from dismissing Indian captain Virat Kohli in both the innings, he also dismissed Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara and Rishabh Pant. He took 10 wickets in two Tests in June at an average of 17.40.
