Efforts are being made to find a solution for the results of the High School and Intermediate board exams canceled due to Corona infection, along with some other important issues. The regular students of the schools will be assessed based on their monthly examination and various project work. The formula to evaluate the students who are studying on private basis also will have to be found.
Along with this, the government has to consider the examination fee as well. This year 1.48 lakh students for the high school and 1.23 lakh students for intermediate have applied for the exam. The examination fee of high school is Rs 210 for regular students and Rs 620 for private whereas in Intermediate this fee is Rs 360 and 720 respectively.
The Board of School Education has taken more than seven crore rupees from these students as fees. Education Minister Arvind Pandey said that the government is considering all aspects. The government will take the decision which will be in the interest of the students. He said that at this time the top priority is to prepare the result. CBSE is preparing its pattern. Uttarakhand Board also runs on the lines of CBSE so we are waiting. Especially intermediate is an important stage in terms of career. Uttarakhand students should not be left behind for any reason in competitive examinations, so the process of assessment must be almost the same.
