Haridwar's Bhalla Road Vishnu Ghat Vyapar Mandal has announced a discount in shopping for the local people and devotees who have been vaccinated. Discounts will be given in different items from 5 to 20 percent. Devotees will have to show a certificate of vaccination. This decision has been taken on Sunday by holding a virtual meeting. Traders have taken this decision to promote vaccination. Bhalla Road Vyapar Mandal President Sandeep Sharma held a virtual meeting with all the traders.
It was decided in the meeting that after the opening of the market, the local citizens or devotees who come to shop and have received the first and second doses of the corona vaccine will get a 5 to 20 percent discount on various items after showing the certificate. Vaccinated people will get 15 to 20 percent on branded shoes, 4 percent on all types of products of Prestige Company, 10 to 15 percent on sarees, 15 percent on blankets, shawls, bedsheets used in marriage, pant shirt, 5 to 10 percent off on cut pieces, 10 percent on worship items and utensils, 15 to 20 percent on readymade garments, 5 percent on gift items, up to 10 percent on sweets.
Markets will open based on SOP
There was a meeting of police and traders in the market post-Bahadarabad. The police have permitted the traders to open establishments as per the SOP issued by the government. The police have also appealed to such establishments not to give any item to the consumers without masks and to take special care of social distancing in front of them.
SO Bahadurabad Sanjeev Thapliyal told the traders that action will be taken if there is a violation of Covid-19. He said that only those establishments which have been allowed to open should be opened till the stipulated time. Bahadurabad Vyapar Mandal President Anil Kathuria said that due to the non-opening of shops of traders in Covid-19, the backbone of traders has been broken. The businessman always cooperates with the police but the police also should not disturb the traders unnecessarily. During this meeting, business board president Neeraj Chauhan, Sanjay Bharti, Umeshdutt Bhardwaj, etc. were present.
