There is no potable water left in Dehradun, research revealed. Bad condition in 53 areas

This news is very worrying. Once known for clean air and pure water, Dehradun has now become a city of polluted water. You will be worried knowing that the water of Dehradun is no longer potable. This has been disclosed by the Specs organization. This organization is continuously working on the quality of drinking water of Dehradun since the year 1990. Let us tell you that the permission for testing of drinking water has been given by the Government of India to the Specs institution. Water samples were collected from different places of Dehradun by this organization. Brijmohan Sharma, secretary of SPEX, says that from June 5 to July 8, 125 samples of drinking water were taken door-to-door in Dehradun and surrounding areas. These were tested in the laboratory. You will be surprised to know that out of 125 places from where drinking water samples were collected, about 90 percent of samples were not found to be up to the standards.
