The Doon Police has tightened security arrangements for President Draupadi Murmu's proposed tour program on December 8 and 9. A large number of police forces have been deployed under the security of the President. During this President, Draupadi Murmu will also be introduced to the rich folk heritage of Uttarakhand. Cultural presentations related to the five regions of Uttarakhand will be given in front of them. Also, Uttarakhandi cuisine will be included in his food.

This is the first tour of Uttarakhand after assuming the office of President Draupadi Murmu. In such a situation, governance and administration are busy with vigor to welcome him. These preparations are being finalized. A cultural evening will be held in the evening upon the arrival of the President on December 8.  In this, a glimpse of the culture of Uttarakhand will be presented to the President. 

There will be a performance of five cultural parties, including cultural presentations of Garhwal, Kumaon, Jaunsaur, Ran community, and Tharu communities. Cultural programs will begin with Shagunakhar (the letter of Shugan).

Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi reached the venue and reviewed the preparations for this reception program to be held at the Chief Minister's residence. She instructed the officials concerned that all arrangements related to the arrival of the President should be completed in time. He also inspected the rehearsal of cultural programs to be presented during the President's arrival.

On Tuesday, police officers briefed the police force posted in security. Instructed that the security lapse will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Strict action will be taken on negligence. During the briefing, Additional Director General of Police V. Murugation, Inspector General of Police, Security AP Anshuman, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Security Krishna Kumar VK, Deputy Inspector General of Police Karan Singh Naganyal, and SSP Dalip Singh Kunwar instructed all the police forces on duty. He said that during VVIP duty, reach your duty site three hours before the scheduled time and get information about your duty.

Check the duty site and its surrounding location well. No suspicious person should be found roaming around the duty site. On receiving any suspicious item, its information should be immediately informed to the high officials. All the nodal police officers were directed to identify all the police officers, employees in uniform and plain clothes with them and check their duty cards, and brief them in relation to duty. 

Ensure that the officers appointed in duty, and employees do not gather at any one place except their duty site. Also, do combing, and checking to search for suspicious persons in the surrounding areas. Apart from this, intensive checking from BDS and Dog Squad Team of high places, and water tanks should be appointed there and appoint the necessary police force there.

Inspector-in-charge Doiwala was directed to ensure verification of external persons residing around the airport. Said that indiscipline during duty will not be tolerated in any case. The duty of all the police forces will be rehearsed in full dress on Wednesday.
