The protest of the priests against the Devasthanam board continues

The pilgrimage priests of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham observed a one-day symbolic fast at Gangotri, Mukhba and Kharsali to demand the dissolution of the Devasthanam Board. Whereas the protest against the Devasthanam Board by tying black bandages by the pilgrim priests of both the dhams is going on since June 11.

The demand for disbanding the Devasthanam Board of the pilgrimage priests of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham, which are included in the Char Dham, has started gaining momentum. On the dissolution of the board, the pilgrims of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham continued to protest by tying black bands in both the Dhams for the fifth day on Tuesday.

Simultaneously, the pilgrimage priests of Gangotri and Ganga's winter migration Mukhba and Yamunotri shrine priests held a one-day symbolic fast in Kharsali, the winter temple complex of Yamuna, and raised slogans demanding the dissolution of the Devasthanam Board. On this occasion, the teerth priests have said that they will perform a Havan Yagya on June 20 for the purification of the government for dissolving the Devasthanam Board and if no positive action is taken by the government to dissolve the Devasthanam Board, they will be furious and will be forced to agitate.
