Raising slogans, the pilgrim priests began a gradual fast from Tuesday. Teerthpurohit Saket Bagwadi sent a letter written in blood to the President and Nitin Bagwadi to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. In the presence of Kedar Sabha President Vinod Shukla, a letter written in blood was sent to the President and the CM. In the letter, the pilgrim priests wrote that there are many rights related to the rights of the pilgrim priests in Kedarnath since the mythological period.

The tradition here is constantly being tampered with which will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He demanded the dissolution of the Devasthanam Board at the earliest. At the same time warned of further intensifying the movement.
