In the election year, the government will give tablets to the 11th class girl students studying in government schools. Girl students can get this gift on the state foundation day. This proposal will be brought to the cabinet on the instructions of Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat. The government has directed the Director of Secondary Education to provide a proposal in this regard. The details of budgetary arrangements have also been sought for tablets.
Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat is taking great interest in improving the education system in the state. In the past, letters have been sent to the district magistrates to repair and paint about sixteen and a half thousand government schools in the state till Diwali. Now on the instructions of the Chief Minister, preparations are being made to give tablets to more than 37 thousand girl students studying in 11th class in government secondary schools. Earlier, it was considered to give tablets to all the students of class 11th and 12th, but given the huge financial burden on the government exchequer, a revised proposal is being prepared.
Instructions have been given to the Directorate of Secondary Education to prepare a detailed proposal related to this subject to be presented in the cabinet. The director of secondary education will have to give details about the expenditure on giving tablets to the girl students and the budgetary arrangement for this. The budget for this can be arranged in the supplementary budget. At present, the government is waiting for the proposal to be sent by the Director of Secondary Education.
