The film's line producer Mayank Tiwari said that Taapsee Pannu will be seen in the lead role in the Hindi feature film Blur, which is being shot under the banner of Outsiders Films. Apart from this, big names like SM Zaheer have also been included in the film. He told that the film will be shot in the heritage buildings of the city along with Mall Road, Russian Bypass in Nainital city. Apart from this, scenes from the film will also be shot at places of interest like Bhimtal Bhawali Sattal Mukteshwar. According to Tiwari, this is going to be the first film of Outsiders Production. For which the entire city of Nainital has been selected. The director of the film is Ajay Behl, while the story is given by Pawan Soni.

Along with Taapsee, Vishal Rana and Pranjal are the producers in the film. He told that the filming will be done in Nainital till August 28. During this, along with Pahari delicacies, Bal Mithai and other traditional items are also being included in the film. Also, 20 local artists including from Nainital have been selected for the role in the film. Earlier also Mayank Tiwari has played the role of coordinator in other films.
