Shukla said that the dates will remain the same. Qualifiers will start immediately after IPL. The Qualifier matches will be played in Oman. The rest of the matches will be played in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah in the UAE.

He said, 'As far as the T20 World Cup is concerned, today was the last date to tell the ICC its decision. So, we had a conference call with all the BCCI officials. We talked and discussed the situation of Covid.

Shukla further said that no one knows what is going to happen after two-three months. Keeping everything in mind, it has been decided that the BCCI will tell the ICC that the World Cup should be shifted to the UAE as this is the right venue after India.
