Strong  bureaucrats during  “Trivendra Raj” sidelined, now it's the turn of DMs and SSPs

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, following the motto of talking less and doing more, finally shoved the bureaucrats like a pack of cards. In this major administrative reshuffle, the bureaucrats considered to be veterans during “Trivendra Raj” have been sidelined somewhat. While the government's confidence in some bureaucrats seems to be getting stronger.

Among them are senior bureaucrats like Manisha Panwar and Anand Bardhan. The government made it clear that it wanted a new team of experienced officers by giving Manisha the important responsibility of finance and Anand Bardhan the home department.

The bureaucracy has been the target of Chief Minister Dhami since the day he assumed the reins of power. As soon as he arrived, he first shook Om Prakash sitting in the chair of the Chief Secretary of the administrative system and crowned Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu in his place. He then added veteran bureaucrat ACS Anand Bardhan to his office team and bid farewell to stalwart bureaucrat ACS Radha Raturi.

Before him, Radhika Jha also left the Chief Minister's office. The responsibilities of Secretary Home Nitesh Jha were also lightened. These three bureaucrats were considered very strong during former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat’s tenure. However, Radhika, who was relieved of the responsibility of energy, has been given important departments like school and secondary education, industry. But she is no longer as powerful as she was in the Chief Minister's Office. Manisha Panwar, Sowjanya, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, BK Sant, SA Murugesan, Harishchandra Semwal, Ranveer Singh Chauhan, Deepak Rawat are some of the new and important faces of the Dhami government's bureaucracy in this massive reshuffle.

Now it's the turn of the DM and the Police Captains

After the reshuffle at the government level, now it is the turn to change the district magistrates and captains of the police. Right now the state government has only changed the District Magistrate of Dehradun. But if sources are to be believed, indications are being given to change the district magistrates of many other districts including Haridwar, Chamoli, Udham Singh Nagar.

There will be one more change

Another change is being expected at the government level itself. It is believed that there will be another small change, in which the charges of some more secretaries will be reshuffled.

Tirath was able to make a transfer

After coming to power in his hands, former Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat had also indicated to make administrative reshuffle but he could make only one transfer in the secretariat itself. Then there was this discussion in the political circles that CM Tirath has also been caught in the captivity of the bureaucracy.

Dhami made his intentions clear as soon as he arrived

But as soon as the reins of power came to Chief Minister Dhami’s hands, he created doubts in the bureaucracy by changing the Chief Secretary. Many bureaucrats who were considered strong were not sure now that their chairs would not be shaken.
