State Congress President Pritam Singh said that the Pegasus case has created an earthquake in the politics of the country. In this case, Union Home Minister Amit Shah should resign on moral grounds. Talking to the media at the state Congress headquarters on Wednesday, Pritam Singh retaliated on Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's attack on Congress in the Pegasus case. He said that the statement of the Chief Minister was reflecting his knowledge in this matter. Pritam Singh alleged that on one hand, the central government is spying on former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and 40 people sitting in high positions through the software company Pegasus, on the other hand, the Chief Minister is trying to put the Congress in the dock.
He said that the central government should explain the reason for shying away from setting up an inquiry into the entire episode. The public is shocked by this episode. This entire matter should be investigated by a Joint Parliamentary Committee. Congress will expose this conspiracy to kill democracy and the constitution. He said that on the instructions of All India Congress Committee, Congressmen would march to Raj Bhavan on Thursday.
