Neelkanth Dham, which was closed since May 2 due to Corona curfew, has opened for devotees. On Tuesday, around 150 devotees performed Jalabhishek of Lord Shiva. The faces of the traders blossomed due to the movement of the travelers in Neelkanth Dham.

Most of the devotees in Neelkanth Dham reached Neelkanth Dham by their personal vehicle on Tuesday. The temple administration also instructed the devotees to follow the rules of Covid-19 before the darshan. Before entering the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, an employee of the temple was not allowing devotees to enter the main gate without sanitisation. Along with this, the priests of the temple were also appealing to the devotees to use masks and follow social distancing.

Temple priest Shivanand Giri said that after about 45 days following the rules of Covid-19, the doors of Neelkanth Dham have been opened for the devotees. He said that devotees are performing Jalabhishek in Jalhari at the gate made from both the sides. Before the Corona period, more than ten thousand devotees used to reach Neelkanth Dham for darshan. It is expected that once the infection of corona will decrease, more devotees will flock to the Dham.
