Registration has started in all the affiliated campuses, colleges and institutes of Kumaon University through the online admission portal created for the academic session 2020-21. So far 2184 students have been registered. In which 626 and 415 students have applied for MBPG College Haldwani and DSB Campus Nainital. Maximum 509 and 362 students have registered for BA and B.Com courses on the online admission portal.

On June 18, Governor and Chancellor Baby Rani Maurya had launched the online admission portal made by Kumaon University for the new academic session 2021-22 at Raj Bhavan. Through this platform, students will be able to complete the admission process sitting at home. For admission to all the campuses, colleges and institutions affiliated with the university, the students must register on the portal. For this, you have to go to the official website of the university http://kunainital.ac.in and click on the online admission form. Only then this application form can be filled.

Admission Process

Payment of Rs 50 will be done through online mode only. By paying the registration fee once, a student can fill multiple forms for different campuses, colleges and different courses with a single transaction number (12 digit number received after depositing the fee). Vice-Chancellor Prof NK Joshi informed that keeping in view the changing global scenario, every effort is being made by the university to create and upgrade information technology infrastructures while taking steps towards complete digitization. This online admission portal will prove to be important in preventing crowding or gathering of students at one place while seeking admission amid the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. With the admission process being completely online, students will not have to come to the college or campuses.

Fill the application carefully

Registrar Dinesh Chandra said that the candidates should fill the online application form carefully. While calculating the extra marks, while filling the qualification and choosing the college and subjects, the students should take special care. Keep a copy of the filled online application form with you for future convenience.
