Bhartiya Kisan Union spokesperson Rakesh Tikait has supported strong land laws in Uttarakhand. Rakesh Tikait has alleged that the BJP government is working to sell the state by selling land to outsiders.
Tikait was present in Dehradun on Wednesday. Here he supported strong land laws. He demanded the implementation of the Village Tourism Policy in the state on the lines of Himachal Pradesh.
At the same time, while implementing the transport policy, there was also a demand for subsidies for those doing transport business. He demanded to make the villages located near the China border a separate zone and make a separate policy for their protection.
He said that the people of the plains are given many benefits for serving in the mountains. Similarly, under the hill policy, people living in hilly areas should be given more facilities to stop the migration.
During this, Tikait also demanded the central government to withdraw the new agricultural law. Said that the farmers' agitation would continue till the law is not withdrawn. Said that if the Uttarakhand government also does not take action on the demands of the farmers, then be ready for the agitation.
