To make government services more accessible and inclusive, MyGov on Monday announced that citizens will be able to access the MyGov helpdesk on WhatsApp to access the DigiLocker service.
As a flagship initiative under the Digital India program, DigiLocker aims to strengthen 'Digital Empowerment' by giving people access to authentic digital documents in their digital document wallet. The documents issued in the DigiLocker system are treated at par with the original physical documents i.e. physical documents.
Now people will be able to download their driving license, PAN card, and many other documents very easily through their WhatsApp app. Now the ministry of Electronics and IT has announced that the people will now be able to access the MyGov helpdesk on WhatsApp to use the DigiLocker service. Now after the introduction of this facility, people will get rid of the hassle of keeping physical copies of other important documents including PAN cards and driving licenses.

After getting the facility of using MyGov Helpdesk on WhatsApp, people can easily access their PAN Card, Driving License, CBSE Class X Passed Certificate, Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC), Class X Marksheet, Class XII Marksheet, and Insurance Policy Documents, etc. Can keep documents etc.
How to download your documents on WhatsApp
If you also want to download other documents like your PAN card, Driving license through WhatsApp. So for this, you have to first send a message to this number 9013151515 by writing Namaste or Hi or Digilocker.
After sending the message, you will be asked whether you want to take the service of the DigiLocker account or the Cowin app.
If you already have an account on DigiLocker, then enter your Aadhaar number.
Then a one-time password i.e. OTP will come on your registered mobile number, which you have to enter here. After this, you can download the documents which you have uploaded here.
