Now entry will not be easily available to go to Mussoorie, read the complete guideline

In the past, crowded pictures of Mussoorie, Haridwar and Nainital dominated social media. People started saying that now there is no place in hotels, later there will be no place in the hospital. The concern is justified. Tourists coming from outside are openly flouting the Kovid rules, increasing the risk of corona infection. In view of this, now the government has made strict rules for tourist places. It has been made mandatory for tourists visiting Mussoorie to bring negative report of RTPCR test within 72 hours. Apart from this, they will also have to register on the Smart City Portal and make hotel bookings before entry. If these documents are not shown, then tourists will not get entry in Mussoorie. Barriers have been installed at three places for verification of documents. Tourists will be allowed to proceed only after the documents are complete.

On Friday, DM Dr. Ashish Srivastava issued instructions in this regard. The new rules will be effective till July 12. After the instructions were issued by the DM, SSP Yogendra Singh Rawat held a meeting with the officers and directed them to implement the rules with immediate effect. Overall, the rules have been tightened for entry in Mussoorie on weekends. If the necessary documents are not shown, then the tourist will not get entry in Mussoorie. However, during this time there is no restriction on going from Dehradun to Mussoorie by roadways bus. Trains will also be allowed to travel from Dehradun to Mussoorie in case of emergency. Local residents of Mussoorie will be able to move by showing their identity card. Let us tell you that earlier Tehri administration has also implemented the rule of giving entry to 50 people at a time in Kempty Fall. No tourist will be allowed to stay more than half an hour at Kempty Falls.
