The representation of Uttarakhand in the Union Cabinet is going to increase. Nainital MP Ajay Bhatt will enter the Modi cabinet by Wednesday evening
The representation of Uttarakhand in the Union Cabinet is going to increase. Nainital MP Ajay Bhatt will enter the Modi cabinet by Wednesday evening. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called the newly appointed ministers at the center for a meeting. Bhatt's name is also included in this. With this, there will be two union ministers from Uttarakhand in the Modi government.
Nainital MP Ajay Bhatt has long experience of working in BJP organization in the state. Bhatt has been the state BJP president. He was the Leader of Opposition during the previous Congress government. His contribution to the party's performance in the last assembly elections is appreciated. It is a matter of fact that he lost the election in 2017 from the Ranikhet assembly seat in the Nainital district. Two years later, in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he won the Nainital parliamentary seat with an overwhelming majority.
Ajay Bhatt's place in the Modi cabinet is believed to be almost confirmed. The Union Cabinet is to be expanded on Wednesday evening. At present, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank is the Union Education Minister in the Modi cabinet. Pokhriyal is counted among the heavy ministers of the Centre. Now this will be the second representation of Uttarakhand in the cabinet in the form of Ajay Bhatt. With Bhatt getting a place in the cabinet, it will be proved again that BJP is forwarding leaders with long organizational experience in the politics of the state and the center.
