Lockdown may be lifted after June 1 in Uttarakhand, said the Minister.
Given the decreasing number of Covid patients, lockdown can be lifted after June 1 said Water Minister Bishan Singh Chuphal.
In view of the dwindling number of Corona patients, the Uttarakhand government is considering ending the lockdown from June 1. The government has said that for the prevention of corona infection, there will be no relaxation in the container zone at the moment. Let us know that the Central Government has issued a letter to the state and has instructed to take strict action in the Containment Zone till June 30.
In a letter issued by Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, the Uttarakhand government has been asked to act strictly in the Containment Zone. Along with this, the Ministry of Home Affairs said that guidelines were issued on 25 April for the containment zone for the prevention of corona infection, which was strictly implemented, leaving some areas of the south and northeastern states and union territories. There has been a decrease in new patients and active cases.
The order of the Ministry of Home Affairs says that even though the corona-infected cases are decreasing at present, but the active cases are still more so the compliance of corona prevention measures should continue till June 30. In the Containment Zone, as before, strict action should be taken through the district administration, so that the infection can be reduced. After that, the district administration can issue orders to implement the measures to prevent corona infection by looking at the local situation.
State Water Minister Bishan Singh Chuphal has said that due to the Covid curfew in the state, the graph of Corona is falling rapidly and due to this the chain of corona has almost broken. Given this, the state government may consider removing the lockdown after June 1.
Talking to reporters, Chuphal said that the use of Covid curfew to defeat Corona with the cooperation of the people of the state has been successful and now the chain of Covid is breaking. In the cabinet meeting, the government may consider removing the Covid curfew in whole or in part from June 1.
