Kathgodam and Link Express will run from Dehradun 3 days a week

Seeing the decrease in corona infection, the Railway Divisional Headquarters has increased the frequency of Dehradun - Kathgodam Express and Dehradun - Prayagraj Link Express, Railway officials say that both trains will be operated three days now instead of two days a week. Dehradun - Prayagraj Link Express will be operated from Dehradun to Prayagraj thrice a week on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Dehradun - Kathgodam Express will depart on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Only select trains are being operated from Dehradun. These included trains like Dehradun - Prayagraj Link Express, Dehradun - Kathgodam Express, Dehradun - Howrah Upasana Express, Dehradun - Gorakhpur Raptiganga Express. 


Station Superintendent (Operations) Sitaram Shankar said that due to less number of passengers in trains, Railway Board had reduced the number of trips of Dehradun-Prayagraj Link Express and Dehradun-Kathgodam Express from three days to two days in a week. The Railway Divisional Headquarters has decided to increase the frequency of these two trains now after analyzing the Covid situation.
