BAMKO India Pvt Ltd has partnered with MAX Healthcare and Vinod Ortho for the vaccination drive done in 2 parts, the first part on 3rd June and the second part on 19th June, across their Dehradun branches. Employees have been vaccinated with the first dose of the Covidshield Vaccine. The second dose of the vaccine will be given to all the employees and their dependents after the government-approved interval and all the expenses for that too, like the first dose, will be borne by the Company.
The statement from the company reads, “BAMKO’s highest priority is always the health and well-being of its employees and partners, in line with this ethos, the company has announced earlier to cover the cost of Coronavirus vaccines of all its employees and their dependents in strict accordance with all Government-approved protocols. Our employees are our family and the backbone of the company. We are also planning to run an off-side vaccination center to cover vaccination for as many employees as possible.”
As per one of the senior operations director, “The drive is a milestone and would help the company and employees feel more comfortable working within the premises.”
During the 2 parts vaccination, the company has said to have vaccinated 390 people with at least one dose, which is almost two-thirds of its entire workforce across Dehradun. It said, “Unfortunately, Corona Curfew, which is in place in Uttarakhand currently, has hampered our and our partners’ efforts to cover a larger number. Considering our tie-up with MAX Healthcare and Vinod Ortho, which are one of the best vaccine providers in the city, we expect to cover all employees in the coming weeks subject to leniency in the Corona Curfew," said a company spokesperson.
