International Yoga Day: CM Rawat did yoga, said- Yoga reached the country and the world from UK

International Yoga Day is being celebrated across the country as well as in different parts of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. The Department of AYUSH and AYUSH Education is organizing yoga practice at Uttarakhand Ayurved University, in which Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat and Forest Minister Harak Singh Rawat practiced yoga.

During this, CM Rawat wished everyone a Happy Yoga Day. He said that even though we are not able to do yoga collectively due to Corona, but people are doing yoga by staying at their homes by connecting through online mediums. He also said that Yoga has reached the country and the world only after coming out from the land of Uttarakhand.

According to the slogan of the Ministry of AYUSH, 'Do yoga at home, do yoga with family', this event is being organized from 6.30 am. University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sunil Kumar Joshi has requested the general public to stay in their homes and practice yoga.
