Major General JS Mangat, the deputy commandant of the Indian Military Academy (IMA), said the young officers will have to lead the troops while setting an example for themselves
Major General JS Mangat, the deputy commandant of the Indian Military Academy (IMA), said the young officers will have to lead the troops while setting an example for themselves. He said that this would be possible only when a young officer is technically proficient in every field. The young military officers need to be updated all the time and always, he added. Deputy Commandant Major General JS Mangat took the salute of the parade as the Chief Guest in the Deputy Commandant Parade held in front of Chatwood Hall, IMA on Tuesday.
Addressing the passing out cadets, he said that the young officers will have to face every challenge on their own.During the leadership, by setting an example in front of the soldiers, they will have to keep trying to get ahead while solving every problem. He called upon the young officers of the pass-out courses to keep updating themselves so that they can easily deal with the challenges in the future. He also congratulated the foreign Gentlemen Cadets passing out from nine friendly countries.
Let us tell you that after rigorous training at the IMA, 341 Indian and 84 foreign cadets will pass out from the Academy after the Passing Out Parade (POP) to be held on June 12. Because of the coronagraph in the country and the state, the relatives of the cadets have not been allowed to join the POP this year.
