Honorarium of “Upanal” workers may increase soon, the first meeting of cabinet sub-committee today
In the meeting, a decision can also be taken on getting the re-deployment of the employees removed from the revenue tax department
There is news of relief for more than 22 thousand employees working in various departments through Upanal in Uttarakhand. The honorarium of employees working for years may increase. At the same time, the employees removed from the Revenue Tax Department can also get redeployment. In the first meeting of the cabinet sub-committee constituted under the chairmanship of Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi to examine the honorarium of the employees, these issues will be kept prominently.
Upanal employees working in various departments of the state have been demanding for a long time to increase their honorarium, regular appointment and reinstatement of the removed employees. The employees say that despite all the assurances of the administration, the employees are being removed.
Recently, the services of 65 employees were terminated from the Revenue Tax Department whereas in other departments also, the condition is same. Their services are being terminated as soon as they get a regular appointment. According to Sainik Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi, the Revenue Tax Department has been assured to keep 35 of the employees who have been removed, but efforts are being made to get all the employees posted.
Apart from this, it has also been seen that the employees who have just got posted through Upanal are being given an honorarium of Rs 15,000, while the employees working for 10 years or more are also being given an honorarium of Rs 15,000. Sainik Welfare Minister said that the Cabinet Sub-Committee after examining all the aspects will submit the report along with its recommendation to the government.
