Heli services will start for Pithoragarh, Gauchar, and Chinyalisaur from today

In Uttarakhand, three Heli services for Pithoragarh, Gauchar, and Chinyalisaur will start from Friday. Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Minister of State for Civil Aviation General VK Singh (Seni), and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will launch it.

State Bureau, Dehradun. Three Heli services will start from Dehradun to Pithoragarh, Gauchar, and Chinyalisaur in the state on Friday. Pithoragarh Heli service will go via Haldwani and Pantnagar. Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Minister of State for Civil Aviation General VK Singh (SENI), and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will launch these Heli services. During this, the new terminal of Jolly Grant Airport will also be inaugurated. Heli Summit will also be held here in the evening.

The central government has decided to start seven new Heli services under the regional connectivity scheme. In this, the formal start of three Heli services will be held on Friday. At the same time, the Heli service running in Srinagar will also be started from October 9 at a new time. Heli services for Pithoragarh and Srinagar are proposed to start from Saturday 9 October and for Chinyalisaur and Gauchar from 10 October. Actually, the operation of Heli services on these routes is already approved except for Pithoragarh. Due to the constraint of the double engine, these Heli services could not be operated. Now the Center has approved the use of single-engine helicopters. In such a situation, except Srinagar, single-engine helicopter services will be operated on the remaining three routes. At present, this service will be operated by a double-engine helicopter in Srinagar. All the preparations have been completed for this.

This will be the fare of Heli services per seat

Dehradun to Chinyalisaur, proposed timings at 9.25 am, fare- Rs 2500.

Dehradun to Gauchar - Proposed timings at 7.15 am, fare Rs 3000.

Dehradun to Srinagar, proposed timings at 11.15 am, fare Rs 3760.

Dehradun to Pithoragarh, proposed timings at 9 am, fare Rs 7999.

This service will go via Haldwani and Pantnagar. In such a situation, the fare from Dehradun to Haldwani and Pantnagar is Rs 5876. The fare from Haldwani-Pantnagar to Pithoragarh has been kept at Rs 4856.

Helisummit will be held at Jollygrant
