Torrential rains since Wednesday night have given relief to the people suffering from the heat and humidity in Dehradun and other parts of the state. It rained in many districts of the state including the capital Dehradun. Lots of debris came on the road in Maldevta of Dehradun due to which road connectivity has been cut off in many nearby areas.


Due to incessant rains in Maldevta of Dehradun, the entire debris of road cutting came down on the main road due to this, debris entered the houses of the people living there. In the video, you can see how the situation is prevailing there at this time. Due to incessant rain here, suddenly there was debris in Dhol village, due to which the road was completely blocked. Because of the debris, the road to other villages i.e. Satyan, Kyara and Dwara has also been closed. According to the information received so far, the road is being constructed for Baitha village here. The debris came on the main road and spread all over the village. This debris is visible for several feet. Rescue operation is also going on here after the debris came on the road.

There has been a steady rise in the temperature for the last few days across Uttarakhand. The temperature in Haridwar has reached close to 40 degrees Celsius. Dehradun recorded a maximum temperature of 36.7 degrees Celsius on Friday.


For the last three days, the temperature of Doon has remained above 36 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, the temperature in other areas also remained above normal. According to the Meteorological Center, from today partly cloudy sky may occur in most areas of the state. There are chances of rain in Dehradun, Uttarkashi and Chamoli. At the same time, light rain may also occur in some areas of Kumaon. Apart from this, an orange alert has been issued for heavy rains in Pauri, Pithoragarh, Nainital and Champawat on Friday and Saturday. Pre-monsoon showers are likely to intensify in Dehradun.
