The High Court has asked the state government about the arrangements for the safety of children in the possible third wave of Covid
The High Court has asked the state government about the arrangements for the safety of children in the possible third wave of Covid. HC Said, what roadmap has the government prepared to deal with this? The court has directed the state government to file a reply in this regard. The next hearing in the matter will be on June 23. The matter was heard in the division bench of Chief Justice RS Chauhan and Justice Alok Kumar Verma.
Public interest litigation has been filed on behalf of state agitator and Aam Aadmi Party leader Ravindra Jugran.
On behalf of the petitioner Jugran, it was also said that the infrastructure of basic health systems in the state is very weak. Health facilities are negligible in the mountains and rural areas. There are neither specialist doctors nor adequate hospitals and equipment in the state. According to the 2011 census, there are about 38 lakh children in the state. The government should be instructed to be ready from now to fight the third wave of Corona so that it will have the least effect on the children.
