In the case of fake corona test in Haridwar Kumbh, the accused Lalchandani Pathology Lab has also filed a petition in the High Court. The lab has requested to canceled the case and demanded a stay on the arrest. The petition, filed on behalf of the board of directors of Lalchandani Lab, states that their lab is recognized by ICMR. They fulfilled the task given to the lab by Max with full responsibility. About 12 thousand tests have been done in the lab. There has been no fraud in any of them.
According to the lab, their contract is not with the government, but with Max. The company has demanded that the concerned FIR be quashed. In this case, a case was already registered against Max, Lalchandani Company and Nalwa Laboratories on behalf of CMO Haridwar. Police have registered a case against Corona investigation company M/s Max Corporate Services New Delhi and Nalwa Laboratories Pvt Ltd Haryana, besides Dr. Lalchandani Lab, New Delhi under Disaster Management Act under sections 420, 467, 468, 128 of IPC.
