Gautam Gambhir Foundation found guilty in hoarding and distribution of medicines

The Drug Controller said that action should be taken against the foundation and drug dealers without any delay. MLA Praveen Kumar has also been found guilty of similar offenses.

Gautam Gambhir Foundation found guilty in hoarding and distribution of medicines

The Delhi High Court has found Gautam Gambhir Foundation guilty of hoarding Fabiflu, while hearing a petition filed by eminent personalities and politicians regarding hoarding of Corona medicines.

During the hearing on Thursday, the Delhi Government's Drugs Controller told the High Court that Gautam Gambhir Foundation has been found guilty of unauthorized hoarding, buying and distribution of Fabiflu, a drug useful in the treatment of Covid-19 patients.

The Drugs Controller told the court that action should be taken against the foundation and the drug dealers without any delay. MLA Praveen Kumar has also been found guilty of similar offenses under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.

The court directed the Drug Controller to file a status report on these cases within six weeks and fixed July 29 for its next hearing.
