The villagers in the Mukteshwar area of ​​Uttarakhand were furious at the reported arrival of Bollywood actor Manoj Vajpayee and the team in connection with the shooting of the web series. The said team has arrived at a resort in Shitala near Mukteshwar.

Villagers warned that if shooting started in the area, they would be forced to agitate. People from Shitala, Satkhol and Satola area said that hundreds of people from Delhi and Mumbai have reached villages for shooting. There is a fear of an outbreak of corona from outsiders arriving in the area.

They said that the administration and police are not listening to the villagers in front of the big people. “On one hand, the administration is following the Covid curfew with the local people and on the other hand, exemption is being given for shooting,” furious villagers told us. The public representatives alleged that they complained to the Bhawali police but they were threatened.

People have demanded DM to stop shooting in the area. Bhawali SHO Ashutosh Kumar Singh told that the shooting team has permission. They have brought the RTPCR negative report. He said that if people will give a complaint in writing, they will investigate. Ramgarh Mandal BJP President Kundan Chilwal told that they will discuss the matter on Saturday with the villagers and the administration.

In June last year, Manoj Vajpayee visited Almora. He had inquired about the traditional ornaments of Kumaon in a shop here. During this time, there was a crowd of people watching the film actor in the market. Many people also took selfies with him.

During his stay, actor Vajpayee liked Kumaon's traditional jewellery. Shop owner Tarun Verma said that he had taken photos of traditional jewellery from Kumaon.
