Earthquake tremors in Uttarakhand, Earth shakes in two districts
Tremors were felt at 12.19 pm on Monday at various places in Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts
Big news has come out from Uttarakhand. Earth in Uttarakhand was shaken by earthquake tremors on Monday. Tremors were felt in two districts of Uttarakhand namely Bageshwar and Pithoragarh district at 12.19 pm on Monday. The magnitude of the earthquake is 3.7 on the Richter scale. It is reported that the epicenter of the earthquake is Pithoragarh. So far no damage has been reported due to tremors in Kanda, Kapkot Headquarters. On the other hand, District Disaster Management Officer Shikha Suyal told the media that information about the damage is being collected. At present, there is no report of any casualty. Uttarakhand is vulnerable to earthquakes. Bageshwar district is considered extremely vulnerable to earthquakes. Earthquake tremors were felt in many areas of Uttarakhand on 12 February this year as well.
