On Thursday, Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal arrived to inspect the Niranjanpur vegetable market and talked about the remodeling of the vegetable market. He has said that at present there has been heavy encroachment by the arhtiyas in the Niranjanpur vegetable market, due to which the farmers and the people who come to buy vegetables suffer. Due to the encroachment of the shopkeepers or arhtiyas, farmers and customers are facing a lot of problems.
Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal said that soon the Niranjanpur vegetable market in Dehradun will be converted into the latest model market. Giving the example of the modern model market of Narendra Nagar, he said that a similar modern and convenient market would be made in Niranjanpur. Along with this, Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal also said that Mandi Parishad has also been formed to coordinate between farmers and arhtiyas and with this the work of construction of toilets in Mandi will also be started soon.
Apart from this, he has also said that the government has decided to provide one utility vehicle to the farmers in each development block of the state.
