Dehradun:Even after 5 months, the treatment in the new building of the district hospital not started
A new building with a capacity of 100 beds is ready in the district hospital of Dehradun. Even after five months, it has not been started
A new building with a capacity of 100 beds is ready in the district hospital of Dehradun. Even after five months, it has not been started. Patients are not getting the benefit of various facilities including ICU, modern OT here. Patients have to be referred. Ministers, local MLAs and DMs have intervened in the matter. But the officers are unable to start it.
It has been told that the process of handover to the hospital is also in the final stage, the meeting of the hospital management and the executive body has been held. But an officer at the Directorate General level has raised some objections in this. There is a problem due to a lack of coordination between the Directorate General and the hospital management.
There are many problems in front of the hospital related to greenery, planting fewer trees, solar panels and toilets. At the same time, the executive organization claims that instead of 200 trees, 350 were planted. Large generators were installed instead of solar panels. Due to the mutual fight between the officers, the delay in the facilities to the patients is coming to the fore. The deployment of new doctors and staff for the operation of the hospital is also pending at the Directorate General level. About 10-15 new doctors and about 50 nursing staff and the same number of ward boys will be needed.
Have told officers many times: MLA
Rajpur MLA Khajandas said that the new building of the district hospital is in the priority of the government. The officers have been asked many times to start early. I myself will visit and ask why the hospital is not starting. The Chief Minister will also be visited. There should be no negligence in the facilities provided to the public.
The handover process for the new building is underway. Some deficiencies have been pointed out, which are being rectified. Hope to see doctors and staff soon. There has also been a demand for the ICU staff in Gandhi Hospital. Lift problem will be solved soon said Dr. Shikha Jangpangi, CMS District Hospital
