Covid curfew extended in Uttarakhand till August 10, earlier restrictions will continue

In Uttarakhand, the government does not want to take any risk even after the impact of the corona epidemic has subsided therefore, the Covid curfew in the state has been extended till August 10. However, no new relief has been given in this.

The Standard Practice Method (SOP) was issued by the Disaster Management Department on Monday. Under this, the Covid curfew will remain in force in the state till 6 am on August 10. All the earlier restrictions have remained the same for the time being.

Educational institutions will issue SOP separately

Private and government schools will have to strictly follow the Covid guidelines. Whereas for ITI, Polytechnic, College, University, Nursing Institute, Medical Institutions, the concerned departments will issue separate SOP.

This is the provision for those coming from outside

If someone comes to Uttarakhand after 15 days of getting both the doses of Covid vaccine, then he will not need RTPCR report. He will be able to come based on the certificate of vaccination.

Shops and hotels and restaurants will open till 10 pm

All social, political, cultural functions will be held as per the prescribed limit. The timings of the shops will be from 8 in the morning till 9 in the night. While hotels and restaurants will remain open till 10 pm. All gyms, shopping malls, cinema halls, spas, swimming pools, salons, parks, theaters and auditoriums will open with 50 percent capacity.

Night curfew will continue

Night curfew will continue in the state. Markets will open from 8 am to 9 am. Hotel restaurants, eateries and dhabas located in urban areas will remain closed from 10 pm to 6 am.

Stadium will open

Sports training and activities, which were closed in the state due to the Covid epidemic, will resume. Only local players will be allowed to enter stadiums and sports centers. Persons above 65 years of age, sick persons, pregnant women will be prohibited from entering the sports complex. The government had recently issued a standard practice procedure (SOP) in this regard as well.
