The dreams of many youths of Uttarakhand to go abroad have been shattered by taking a dose of covaxin to prevent corona infection. Many countries are not giving visas to those who have been vaccinated for this vaccine due to the absence of covaxin in the WHO's emergency use list. Due to this, it has become difficult for people who want to go abroad for jobs and other important works.

Most of the countries of the world have put vaccination conditions for their entry here. All of these countries are asking for a certificate of vaccination of a valid vaccine from the WHO. People who have taken the dose of the Covidshield vaccine in the country are not facing any problem in traveling abroad, but many countries are not giving visas to those who have vaccinated Indian Covaxin. Due to this, problems have arisen in front of those working in hotels or other places abroad.

Many local people who are working in Gulf countries and whom our team has interacted with have confirmed denied the Visa since they have taken the Covaxin dose.Even as the gulf countries like Kuwait started opening up, these people after getting calls from their employers when applied for the visas, their application was denied due to Covaxin.

People who have been vaccinated against the vaccine are facing the problem of not getting a visa. The Center is in talks with the WHO in this regard, this problem is expected to be resolved soon.
