Congress high command appointed Deepika Pandey Singh as as new co-in-charge for Uttarakhand
The Congress high command is in alert mode regarding the assembly elections to be held in 2022. The party has appointed Deepika Pandey Singh as the new co-in-charge for Uttarakhand.
The Congress high command is in alert mode regarding the assembly elections to be held in 2022. The party has appointed Deepika Pandey Singh as the new co-in-charge for Uttarakhand. The party had appointed Devendra Yadav as Uttarakhand in-charge about six months ago. Before Yadav, Anugrah Narayan Singh was the state in-charge. Now the party has entrusted the responsibility to MLA Deepika Pandey Singh as the new co-in-charge to cooperate with the State in-charge.
Prior to this, Deepika has been the General Secretary of All India Youth Congress. Presently Congress National Secretary, Deepika is MLA from Mahgama Assembly seat in Jharkhand.
She will jointly handle this responsibility with the current co-in-charge Rajesh Dharmani. On the instructions of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, National General Secretary Organization KC Venugopal issued an order in this regard.
Along with Uttarakhand, new co-in-charges of Congress have also been appointed in Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi and Bihar. State Congress President Pritam Singh, Leader of Opposition Dr Indira Hridayesh, State Vice President Dhirendra Pratap, General Ministers Vijay Saraswat and Naveen Joshi and State Spokesperson Garima Dasoni have congratulated Deepika Pandey on getting the responsibility of the state.
