Congress has made a strong strategy to surround the ruling party

Before the monsoon session of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly begins, the opposition has prepared a strategy to surround the government on various issues. Under this, the Congress will try to surround the government by raising issues like unemployment, inflation, deficiencies in health services during the Corona period, Devasthanam Board, farmers, land laws. With this, Congress will demand discussion on all issues including Corona by bringing a stop work resolution under Rule-58.

All the issues were discussed in the meeting of Congress Legislature Party held at a hotel located near Kishan Nagar Chowk on Sunday. Presiding over the meeting, Leader of Opposition Pritam Singh urged the legislators to take up the issues related with the common man in the House with a sharp tone. He said that the rising unemployment, inflation and poor health services during the Corona period, employees, farmers and women are all such issues, due to which every person of the state is suffering. The BJP government has proved to be a failure in every field. He will have to answer for all the flaws. Apart from this, along with the steps being taken to strengthen the employment, self-employment and health infrastructure, the issue of speeding up the slow development works will also be raised in the House.

In the meeting, the issue of fraud in the Corona testing was specially discussed. It is certain that the opposition will vigorously raise this issue in the House. In fact, during the Haridwar Mahakumbh, a large-scale forgery has been found in the corona testing conducted to prevent infection which is still under investigation. Congress has been putting the government in the dock on this matter since the beginning. Now they have got a chance to raise the issue in the House.

Four MLAs did not reach the meeting

In the meeting of the Legislature Party held under the chairmanship of Leader of Opposition Pritam Singh, only six out of ten Congress MLAs attended. In which Deputy Leader of Opposition Karan Mahara, MLA Mamta Rakesh, Rajkumar, Adesh Chauhan participated. While MLAs Qazi Nizamuddin, Furqan Ahmed, Manoj Rawat, Govind Singh Kunjwal and Harish Dhami remained absent in the meeting. Apart from this, the chairman of the election steering committee and former CM Harish Rawat also appeared for some time.Four working presidents, Prof. Jeet Ram, Tilak Raj Behad, Ranjit Rawat and Bhuvan Kapri were also present in the meeting.

New Leader of Opposition in front of new Chief Minister

The new Leader of the Opposition will be face to face with the new Leader of the House in the Monsoon session of the Vidhan Sabha starting from Monday. In the election year, both the ruling party BJP and the main opposition Congress have gone through major changes. The effect of this change will also be seen in the monsoon session of the Legislative Assembly. New Leader of the House and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will come with the new confidence of the BJP, then the Leader of Opposition from the opposition side will enter the fray with his small but strong team. Under the leadership of new Leader of Opposition Pritam Singh, Congress and opposition MLAs are ready to take a stand against the government and the ruling party.
