'Congress' and 'AAP' gheraoed CM residence over Inflation , free electricity and other issues

On Saturday, Congress and AAP workers made a ruckus against the Uttarakhand government. While the Congress demanded the resignation of the government and demanded the harshest punishment for the culprits in the Corona fake investigation case, on the other hand the agitated AAP workers demanded free electricity in Uttarakhand. Describing the government as a failure on every front, Congressmen said that the BJP has changed only chief ministers in five years, while AAP workers accused the government of making false promises.
On Saturday, Congress workers took out an outcry rally by lashing out at the government regarding dozens of issues like Corona fake investigation, Devasthanam Board, inflation, corruption etc. Terming the government as a failure on all fronts, senior Congress functionaries demanded the resignation of the BJP government. The protesters expressed concern that in all the hilly districts of the state, the villagers are yearning for basic facilities. Villagers have to walk for many kilometers for facilities like electricity, water, roads, education, health.
Congress workers gathered in large numbers at Rajiv Bhawan on Saturday. In the presence of state in-charge Devendra Yadav and state president Pritam Singh, the workers left for the CM residence. The Aakrosh rally reached Hathibarkala via Ashley Hall, Rajpur Road, Dilaram Chowk. Congress workers raised slogans against the government during the protest rally. The police stopped the protesters at Hathibarkala by putting up barricades. There was also a heated argument between the Congress workers and the police force about going to the CM residence. Angry Congress workers sat on dharna at Hathibarkala Chowk itself.
Addressing the workers, state in-charge Devendra Yadav said that the BJP government has proved to be a failure on every front. He said that corruption has reached its peak in the state. He said that the Corona fake investigation case in Haridwar Kumbh is the biggest example. Expressing displeasure over the increase in the prices of LPG including petrol, diesel, Yadav said that the government has proved to be a complete failure in controlling inflation. Addressing the protesters, State President Pritam Singh expressed concern that for the past several days, the pilgrim-priests have been protesting for the cancellation of the Devasthanam Board in the cham dhams, but they are not being taken care of by the government.
Aam Aadmi Party workers marched to the Chief Minister's residence on Saturday on the government’s promise of free electricity in Uttarakhand. AAP leaders said the government is making fake promises to lure people in the election year.A large number of AAP workers raised a ruckus against the government during the CM residence march. Several AAP workers including state president SS Kler, Colonel Ajay Kothiyal have been arrested after a heated argument and scuffle with the police force. AAP workers accused the government of neglect and said that the villagers in the hilly districts of the state are yearning for basic facilities.
