Along with Jolly Grant, he has also asked for attention on the system of night landing at Pantnagar Airport and the development of expansion and infrastructure facilities. The Chief Minister has asked to pay attention to ensuring effective arrangements to prevent ticket booking and black marketing of tickets to provide better air facilities to passengers and tourists during Chardham Yatra.
While chairing the eighth meeting of the Director Board of Civil Aviation Development Authority in the Secretariat on Tuesday, the Chief Minister directed that we have to motivate people to come to Uttarakhand on the basis of better air facilities.
Such an atmosphere will have to be created so that coming to Uttarakhand becomes a habit of people. Along with our identity as a friendly state, he also described the need for consolidated efforts for a maximum boost to tourism and religious tourism in the state.
The Chief Minister also asked Yukada to pay attention to efforts to increase income resources. He said that along with making night landing arrangements in Pantnagar, efforts should be made to operate air service regularly from here. It should also be made arrangements that after landing from aircraft in Pantnagar and Jolly Grant, tourists should have the facility to visit various picturesque tourist places in the state by helicopter.
He also asked Naini Saini, Chinyalisour, and Gauchar airstrips to be made facilities so that small aircraft facilities can also be available here. He also asked to focus on the facilitated resources being developed under the flight scheme.
The Chief Minister said that during the Chardham Yatra, effective arrangements should be made for the booking of heli tickets and effective control over the black marketing of tickets. In this regard, the Chief Minister also said that the arrangement of booking of heli tickets through IRCTC.
In the meeting, information about departmental activities was given through the presentation by Secretary of Civil Aviation Dilip Javalkar and Chief Executive Officer Yukada C. Ravi Shankar. In the meeting, along with the confirmation of the proceedings of the previous meeting of Yukada, the consensus was given along with a discussion on various topics presented in the current meeting.
