Pushkar Singh Dhami is visiting New Delhi for the first time after becoming the Chief Minister. He will pay a courtesy call on President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday. He is also scheduled to meet Union ministers.

The Chief Minister will meet Heavy Industries Minister Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey at 5.20 pm, New and Renewable Energy Minister Rajkumar Singh at 6 pm. He is also scheduled to meet other Union ministers. Chief Minister Dhami will also pay a courtesy call on BJP National President Dr. JP Nadda.
A team of officials has also accompanied the Chief Minister. Apart from Chief Secretary Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, some other officers are with him. During the visit, the Chief Minister is expected to meet some Union Ministers. During the meeting, the Chief Minister will advocate the issues related to the ministries.

During the meeting with the Prime Minister, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will inform him about the prevention of the Covid epidemic in the state, preparations to deal with the third wave, vaccination campaign. He will also give information about the ongoing central schemes in the state such as Chardham and all weather Road, Rishikesh-Karnprayag Rail Line Project and Kedarnath Reconstruction Scheme.
