Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi inaugurated development works worth 442 lakhs
Mussoorie MLA and State's Minister of Military Welfare and Industrial Development Ganesh Joshi, has inaugurated development works worth 442 lakhs in Maldevta today
On Friday, Mussoorie MLA and State's Minister of Military Welfare and Industrial Development Ganesh Joshi, in, Dehradun, has inaugurated reconstruction and improvement work of the damaged road in Maldevta’s Sherki Silla near Sarkhet village in Maldevta. The reconstruction work comes under the Public Works Department and will cost Rs 349 lakhs.
Apart from this, he also laid the foundation stone for Ghantu Ka Sera Drinking Water Scheme (cost 38.10 lakh) under Jal Jeevan Mission program and Sarkhet Bhainswadgaon Drinking Water Scheme (cost 37.19 lakh) under Jal Jeevan Mission program.
The Minister also laid the foundation stone for the road construction work from PPCL office to Sarkhet village in Maldevata approved by Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority.
On this occasion, the cabinet minister said that development is a continuous process, we continuously develop basic facilities for the development of the area and will continue to work for the betterment of the people. He said that it is my endeavor that necessary facilities like electricity, water, roads, health and education should be developed in urban areas as well as in rural areas. Today’s foundation stone laying ceremony is part of these efforts.
On this occasion, District Panchayat members Veer Singh Chauhan, Anuj Kaushal, Ghanshyam Negi, Rajpal Melwal, Sanjay Rana, village head Neelam Kotwal, Jaikrishna Mangai, Roshan Lal, Vijay Nautiyal, Narendra Melwan, Ramchandra Nautiyal, Sanjay Rana, Ramchandra Nautiyal, Amardev Bhatt, Mukesh Negi, Ajay Kala, Arvind Topwal, Superintending Engineer of Jalnigam Subhash Chand, Lonvi AE PB Singh etc. were present.
